Rhodonite

Rhodonite settles emotions, calms the heart, and builds an energetic foundation for emotional order, balance, and stability. It does this by encouraging all the body’s meridians and energy flows to settle down and work together.

Pink Tourmaline

Pink Tourmaline offers protective energy so that you can feel safer and more supported while your emotions find their new state of balance. Pink Tourmaline also vitalizes the pericardium, which protects the heart. In this necklace we use a variety of Pink Tourmaline called Rubellite. Rubellite is known for its dark pink color.

Rhodonite & Pink Tourmaline and Chinese Medicine

The Rhodonite-Pink Tourmaline combination represents both yin and yang aspects of the fire element of Chinese Medicine. The fire element supports functions that have reached a maximal state of activity, transformation, passion, purification, peaking (reaching most active point) and also destruction. This necklace also helps to balance the emotion of joy.

How to Use

Rhodonite & Pink Tourmaline is one of the GEMFormulas’ Foundation Five necklaces. Each necklace in the Foundation Five Collection has a particular affinity with one of the five elements of Chinese Medicine. These are: water, wood, fire, earth, and metal. Rhodonite & Pink Tourmaline is the fire element necklace.

Rhodonite & Pink Tourmaline can be worn by itself, or used in combination with all five necklaces in the collection. Together, they work to balance the five element processes as they work throughout the body.

General Guidelines

    This was, and always will be, a very special necklace for me. It came to me (that’s how I describe it) shortly after I lost my beloved father. I was very deeply grieving and trying to move on and rebuild my life, as I had been completely devoted to him and his care during the time of his terminal illness. Once I put on this necklace, I just could not take it off. If I tried, I would have to immediately put it back on. I was relatively new to learning about these gemstones at the time, and all I knew was that it was offering me incredible support, and was absolutely sustaining me through the grieving process. I needed to wear it constantly. Then, after a time, I needed it less and less. And it was OK. And I was OK. This necklace will always be a treasured and special friend to me. And I am forever grateful for it.

    Initially, I thought of the Rhodonite & Pink Tourmaline necklace as just promoting joy and happiness in positive occasions, and not so much as fighting of stress or balancing stress. For example, at my grandchildren’s birthday parties. They can be stressful events with all the kids screaming and running around! This necklace does such a great job of promoting joy that I really never noticed the stress at the parties very much. The Pink Tourmaline helps you to battle the stress so that you can find the warmth and joy in the happy occasions. I feel like this necklace shields me from stress so I can enjoy the beauty and happiness of joyful occasions. It protects the heart while the wearer builds or renews inner strength! I also feel so much more feminine when I wear this combination as it supports both feminine and masculine femininity in a healthy way. I don’t think I wear this combination enough!

    Rhodonite with Pink Tourmaline is very soothing for dealing with emotional challenges. It is supportive and gentle when dealing with emotional upsets including grief and fear. I often wear it when I am feeling emotionally challenged or a bit overwhelmed.

    I use the bracelet because my pericardium meridians were fried (these meridians are in the arms) and I had apathy almost to the point of it being an obsession. Even when a part of me that was programmed to reject joy doesnt want to wear these gems, they still help me feel joy in situations where the thoughts are ” how could one be happy in a time like this!?!”. I tend to want to have all my ducks in a row before I can feel happy, and this Rhodonite & Pink Tourmaline formula is helping me break that pattern.

    I bought the necklace for doing the GEM111 course, including the 5 elements class. Compared to wearing the bracelet which seems to spark joy and help support the meridians in the arm, the necklace is very helpful in standing up for my rights. Ive felt very crushed and traumatised because of absurd bureaucratic messes that seem to occur because my life and needs for certain rights and accomodations do not fit the standard "box". Lots of times I have been met with corruption and applications being misintrepeted or interpreted in a certain way in order to benifit the current political trend instead of actually protecting my rights. This showed up again a couple days ago and wearing the necklace supported me through the punch-in-the-gut feeling. I was able to express these feelings of panic and hopelessness brought on by experiencing having rights on paper in the law, but not in real life. The day after I still felt the trauma, but was in a place of "they have to respect my rights here, and I am going to make that incredibly clear to them!!". I wrote an answer wearing the necklace and in their answer they had accepted all my accomodation needs and rights. Growing up there were no adults asserting my needs and this contributed to breaches of my boundries which affects the pericardium and immune system. This necklace is helping my immune system which has been overloaded. I also feel the meridians being supported in working together and this feels like a relief and very calming. The Lapis-Pyrite necklace is very supportive together with this necklace.

Care and Cleansing

Cleansing Your Gemstones Using Clearing Sprays

Therapeutic gemstones naturally accumulate unwanted energies when you wear them. These energies are what the gems help your body to release, or what they naturally pick up from their environment either during use or when stored. If your necklaces aren’t cleansed completely or often enough, unwanted energies will build up. The gemstones’ therapeutic value will be limited, and you’ll no longer feel drawn to wear them.

While opening the clasp after use disperses the bulk of unwanted energies, the gemstones still must be regularly and thoroughly cleansed to remain beneficial to the wearer. As unwanted energies collect, they can make the necklace feel heavy and you’ll no longer feel like wearing it.
