It is the responsibility of GTI students and practitioners to review this document regularly so that the Code of Ethics remains clear and present in their minds.

My Commitment To My Clients

I will:

  • Provide the highest quality of care to those who seek my professional services, without discrimination.
  • Respect the rights, privacy, and dignity of each and every client.
  • Keep my clients’ names and identities confidential and do not share who I am presently working with, have worked with (no matter how long ago), or have scheduled to work with in the future. This includes but is not limited to clients who are public figures, GTI mentors, and fellow students.
  • Accurately inform my clients about the scope and limitations of Diamond and Gemstone Therapy, ensuring they understand that it is a complementary modality and not a substitute for conventional medical treatment
  • Obtain and record the informed consent of clients, or their advocates, before providing Diamond and Gemstone Therapy. This consent may be written or verbal.
  • Respect my client’s right to modify, refuse, or terminate a method used or the session itself, regardless of prior consent given.
  • Keep accurate records of each client’s history and treatment.
  • Bill clients accurately and fairly.
  • Maintain professional boundaries with my clients, honor and nurture a client-practitioner relationship based on trust, and avoid actions that interfere with that trust. These include but are not limited to soliciting clients or accepting solicitations for business deals.
  • Refrain from initiating or engaging in any sexual conduct involving a current client or former client within six months of that professional relationship ending, unless such a relationship exists before a person becomes my client.
  • Avoid working with clients if I am unable to safely and effectively provide Diamond or Gemstone Therapy due to physical or psychological impairment, such as from illness, injury, substance abuse, etc. (For example, if I’m not feeling well enough to give a session, I would contact the client to ask if we can reschedule an appointment.)
  • Explain to my clients that Diamond and Gemstone Therapy are a form of energy work. I am not qualified to make judgments about physical, emotional, and psychological health, and will not prescribe or diagnose. If a client has concerns that are physical, emotional, and/or psychological, I will suggest they see a licensed health-care provider.
  • Honor the trust my clients place upon me to provide in my practice only GTI-approved TheraDiamonds™ and therapeutic-quality gemstones that are strung with their symbiotic partners. While I may have other gemstones in my personal pharmacy, I will reserve these for personal use.
  • Follow established best practices when performing Diamond or Gemstone Therapy remotely, maintaining clear energetic boundaries so my energy and my client’s energy remain separate by using proper grounding, space-holding, and space-maintaining techniques as taught in GTI 171.

My Commitment To The Gemstones

I will:

  • Keep my Diamond and Gemstone Therapy tools safe, clean, and organized and store them away from sources of electromagnetic radiation.
  • Honor the life-giving energies of my Diamond and Gemstone Therapy tools and practice being open and receptive to their intelligence.
  • Refrain from asking my Diamond and Gemstone Therapy tools to perform any service other than that which their mission requires of them. This includes “programming” them with intentions, messages, or any information whatsoever. Such misapplication of the crystalline structure is deemed a violation of the gemstone itself, and of the Diamond and Gemstone Therapy principles that promote a respect for the sanctity of all life, including that of the members of the mineral kingdom.
  • Honor and respect the gemandalas and formulas brought forward by Isabelle Morton and act to safeguard them from tampering or alteration of any kind.

My Commitment To The Public

I will:

  • Represent my qualifications honestly, including education and professional affiliations, training and experience, and certification status, and provide only those services I am qualified to perform.
  • Follow the Gemstone Therapy Institute Code of Ethics and all policies, guidelines, and requirements established by the Gemstone Therapy Institute.
  • Refrain from any representation that a Diamond or Gemstone Therapy Practitioner Certification implies licensure.
  • Use only professional titles and designations that accurately reflect my training, credentials, and level of certification.
  • Advertise only accurate, truthful, non-misleading information and refrain from making public statements on the efficacy of Diamond and Gemstone Therapy that are not supported by the generally accepted experience of the profession.
  • Respect the integrity of other forms of health care and medical traditions and seek to develop collaborative relationships with other providers in order to achieve the highest quality of care for individual clients.
  • Respect the trademarks and copyrights held by Isabelle Morton and the Gemstone Therapy Institute. I will not infringe on them or change or modify the formulas in any way.
  • Comply with all public health and public safety reporting duties.

My Commitment To The Profession

I will:

  • Consistently maintain and improve my proficiency in Diamond Therapy and/or Gemstone Therapy, and strive for professional excellence through regular self-assessment of personal and professional strengths and weaknesses and through continued training.
  • Share with GTI the protocols used and results obtained from key Diamond and Gemstone Therapy sessions to add to the knowledge base of the modality, while at the same time safeguarding the confidentiality of all information that could be used to connect this information with a particular client.
  • Continue to promote the highest standards of the profession.
  • Nurture and support the Diamond and Gemstone Therapy community.
  • Keep GTI practitioner training information confidential. Practitioner protocols and procedures may be shared or discussed only with fellow GTI students and practitioners who are trained at the same level or higher.
  • Report any changes to GTI regarding my contact information and my on-going fitness to practice, including but not limited to any disciplinary action taken by a school or regulatory agency against me, criminal charges, or civil actions that may be relevant to my Diamond Therapy and/or Gemstone Therapy practice or fitness to practice.
  • Comply with GTI mentoring and examination policies.
  • Report to GTI any violations of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice that should be made known to them.
  • Refrain from discussing other healing modalities with GTI faculty, students, and peers during GTI classes, workshops, webinars, conference calls, and retreats.
The Gemstone Therapy Institute (GTI) Code of Ethics may be updated from time to time when we find new ways to describe the high standards by which GTI students and practitioners are expected to conduct themselves.
