Introducing Pink Sapphire

Pink Sapphire belongs to the corundum family along with Blue Sapphire, Yellow Sapphire, and Ruby. Pink Sapphire comes in a range of pink colors. The deeper the pink color, the stronger the gemstone’s healing effects and the more rare and costly it can be (if it also has good clarity). We call this quality “Dark Pink Sapphire.”

Pink Sapphire offers many therapeutic benefits to its wearers. Primarily, it strengthens the emotional body to enhance resilience, nourishes the emotional intelligence to promote wise emotional expressions, and lifts the emotional aura in places where it presses against the body.

“Rosellite” is our name for high-vibration Rose Quartz. The clarity of this gemstone is nearly flawless, and its candescence very bright. Lifts the Emotional Aura

A common limitation posed by the emotional layer of the aura is that it can collapse or lean over small or substantial portions of the physical body. If the compression is over small areas, it can restrict the movement of healing and life-giving energies to that area. Once-healthy anatomy can suffer, and challenged areas can be slow to heal. Minor sinking of the emotional layer of the aura over large areas can produce a sense of feeling constantly overwhelmed, unduly stressed, or at worst, claustrophobic.

When the emotional layer of the aura collapses or leans upon the body, it suggests that the individual involved may have experienced one or more of the following:

• Repeated emotional or physical abuse.
• A lack of resources to support a resilient supraphysical aura, which is the layer of the aura that lies between the body and the emotional layer.
• Severe energetic depletion, especially in areas associated with the compression or collapse.

• Physical weaknesses at the areas where the collapse is occurring.

When Pink Sapphire is worn, its energies arrange themselves in a matrix that serves like scaffolding. The scaffolding reaches from the physical body outward to the emotional layer of the aura. As the necklace is worn, the scaffolding unfolds and so lifts the emotional layer to its proper distance from the physical body

In Summary

In the previous paragraphs, I’ve separated three primary benefits of Pink Sapphire in an attempt to clarify them. In reality, these three work together all at once. As the pink ray nourishes and enhances the emotional intelligence, it also strengthens. As the emotional aura is strengthened it lifts away from the body. And as it lifts away, it also becomes stronger and the emotional intelligence unfolds.
You’ll know this necklace is working when you start to feel hope or see solutions that didn’t occur to you previously. You may word things in a more positive way. Others may comment that you appear brighter or more “alive.”

Numerology

The Relevé design is based on the number four. The necklace consists of four different gemstones, it has four sections of Pink Sapphire and White Beryl, and the Rosellite is knotted every four beads. There are four Pink Sapphire, Dark Pink Sapphire, and White Beryl in the bracelet/therapy strand version, and double this amount in the necklace design.

In gemstone therapy, the number four has a particular affinity with the physical body. The energetic influence of this number supports balance, grounding, and a firm foundation.

The number four greatly supports Pink Sapphire’s work. The numerical influence provides a foundation from which the Pink Sapphire energies can lift the emotional aura wherever it has softened or collapsed. The number four also enhances Pink Sapphire’s ability to uplift emotional vibrations for a heightened experience of joy, contentment, and well-being.

What is the Difference Between the Emotional Aura and the Emotional Body?

The emotional body coexists with the physical body, but at a higher vibration. You might say it is larger than the physical body because its presence extends beyond the skin and can be palpated as a layer of the aura. However, the body is surrounded first by a supraphysical layer of the aura, which should extend about four to six inches from the skin. The emotional layer of the aura lies above that, and extends outward for about twelve to eighteen inches.

Gemstones that are held or applied in this layer of the aura directly influence the emotional body. Gemstones that are worn on the physical body can also influence the emotional body, especially if these gemstones have a natural affinity with the emotions. As the gems are worn, their energies penetrate physical vibrations to reach the emotional-level ones.

Therapeutic Quality Pink Sapphire

Therapeutic-quality Pink Sapphire has a consistent pink color and excellent clarity. Cloudiness and inclusions are avoided because they interfere with the gems’ ability to build energetic matrix.

When You First Receive Relevé

Try this exercise when you first receive these gemstones and anytime afterward.

1. Unclasp the gemstones. Hold one end in each hand using your fingertips. Position it in front of you at arm’s length, with your elbows comfortably bent. At the same time, place both feet on the floor. You can be sitting or standing. If you sit on an armchair, you can rest your elbows on the arm rests.
2. Stay in this position for a few minutes, or until your arms start to tire. The gemstones may begin to sway. This means it is interacting with the energies in your aura.

During this exercise your emotional body learns about the gemstones’ energies and begins to receive their effects. The numerical influence of the number four may produce the most obvious sensation. You may feel steadier and more grounded and balanced, as though your feet provide a new sense of stability for your body.

You might also notice a greater flow between your physical and emotional bodies. You might sense a movement of energies, but that does not necessarily mean you will feel emotions. Some emotions will release and dissipate and you may feel those, but you don’t necessarily have to if you hold the attitude that you’ll simply observe them passing through.

If you feel that the necklace wants to move toward you, let it. If your body seems ready to wear it, do so.

Before Wearing Relevé

Each time you wear Relevé, spend a few seconds or at least a minute (if you have time) to hold the necklace in front of you as described above. Feel the solid grounding it provides. And let your body’s energies pull the necklace toward you.

Even if the necklace pulls in when tested, or you get a clear “yes” in an answer-receiving technique, take your time bringing it through your aura to your physical body. Let it spend a few moments directly in your emotional aura.

How Often to Wear

Relevé can be worn daily, or a few times a day, but with breaks in between. Wearing this necklace is like building muscle. Each time you wear it the muscle contracts; taking the necklace off relaxes the muscle. Muscles require both movements to grow stronger. Wearing Relevé for too long at first can feel tiring for some people.

Backstory

To develop the GEMFormulas’ necklaces, Isabelle consults with her Gemstone Therapy teachers in the higher planes or the gemstone guardians in charge of the gemstones used. Here, Isabelle shares some of her personal experiences behind the scenes in the development of this necklace.

When I met the Guardian of Pink Sapphire, the first thing I saw was her feet. She was wearing pink ballet shoes and was standing on her toes. Her muscular feet were covered in white tights and her ankles wrapped with dark pink leg warmers. As my vision expanded, my gaze moved upward. Her skirt consisted of two layers of bright pink fabric, and her leotard was a pale pink. It became clear to me that the colors she wore signified the gemstones she wanted in the necklace that would represent her.

I couldn’t help notice that she was plump for a ballerina. But her girth certainly did not detract from her featherlike grace as she continued to dance for me. I know enough about ballet to know that such grace and precision comes with extraordinary strength born of devoted practice.

After a final grand leap through the air she curtsied, and then walked over to the barre to grab a towel, which she wrapped around her shoulders. Then she sat down beside me on the bench.

We enjoyed a bit of small talk, and I recounted my own limited ballet experience and also great appreciation for the art. Then she began to discuss the mechanics of emotions. To understand what she shared about the aura, I’ll briefly review its layers: Surrounding the physical body is a supraphysical layer of energy that should ideally be about four to six inches wide. Beyond that lies the emotional layer which can be twelve to eighteen inches thick, and encircling this layer is found the causal (memory) and mental layers of the aura.

She explained, “When too much attention is placed on the emotions, the emotional layer of the aura loses its integrity and drifts toward the physical body. In short, it sags. The supraphysical layer of the aura thins, when it should actually be a healthy buffer between the emotional aura and body. Furthermore, constant attention on your feelings usually means less attention is given to your mental and physical needs, and the wisdom of memory is ignored.

“As a result, emotions consume your life and you lose your choices and free will. You’re no longer able to let an emotion go. It grips you. It won’t let you sleep, nor will it let you be fully awake. The emotion crowds your life and you become its prisoner.

“Energetically two things have happened.
1. Emotional energy has gotten caught in physical tissue.
2. The emotional aura has essentially collapsed in whole or in significant sections to crowd and pressure the body.

“Pink Sapphire alone can lift the emotional aura, but it’s wise to include its symbiotics.” She shared the design called Relevé. It consisted of two shades of Pink Sapphire, Rosellite, and White Beryl.

“The action of the Relevé necklace can be compared to the restoration of a crumbling building worth saving. Pink Sapphire energy provides the scaffolding used to hold up the building and allow workers to access it. The process of picking up what’s fallen belongs to Rosellite. White Beryl clears the dust and shines light on the process. The darker Pink Sapphire provides a more permanent support, like the columns that hold up a Grecian temple ceiling.

“Rosellite is symbiotic to Pink Sapphire because it extracts emotional energies from physical tissues and dissipates them. This clearing of physical tissues helps the Pink Sapphire energy build upon a worthy foundation. In construction, you have to make sure the ground you’re working on is firm enough. Rosellite does this energetically.

“Most Rose Quartz spheres are not high enough in vibration for Pink Sapphire. That’s why the pair wasn’t suggested to you when you first started to work with Pink Sapphire. Now that you’ve been given Rosellite, the compatibility is self-evident.”

I agreed.

She then explained that Pink Sapphire is rare and therefore expensive. It’s also much more powerful and effective in relatively large stones, and the larger they are the more deeply they can penetrate the emotional aura. All other parameters being equal, a 3-mm Pink Sapphire may reach the emotional layer of the aura, while a 3.5mm gem will penetrate it, a 4mm gem would access it almost completely and a 5mm gem would encompass it.

She said that the Relevé design was intended to make this precious gem more available, even though the price may still be prohibitive for some. It also gives wearers the opportunity to work with larger Pink Sapphire gems.

When we discussed the difference between Dark Pink Sapphire and Ruby, which can look similar in color, she produced samples of each. They appeared in her palm upon invitation. Once the two gems were beside each other, the Dark Pink Sapphire and the Ruby were obviously different colors.

“You can feel the difference too,” she said.

“Yes,” I replied.

“You’ve noticed that dark Pink Tourmaline and Rhodolite (dark pink Garnet) are also similar in color.”

“Yes.”

“Let’s look at this from a pet-owner’s viewpoint,” she suggested. “To a dog-person, all Siamese cats look alike. But the owner of Siamese cats will attest that each is very different in looks as well as personality. Likewise, the energies and therefore the healing benefits of each of these pink gems are also unique.”

She stood up and then lifted herself onto her toes in relevé. While remaining in that position she said, “There are four parts to the process of emotional restoration. Here again we find the number four.
1. Emotional support
2. Emotional clearing
3. Emotional strengthening
4. Emotional-physical reconciliation

“Pink Sapphire with White Beryl alone, strung with the numerology of the number four could provide these four benefits. In the Relevé design, the Pink Sapphire is supported by Rosellite and White Beryl which provide the emotional clearing. The Dark Pink Sapphire provides a stronger degree of support and strengthening. And the ubiquitous influence of the number four assists with the emotional-physical reconciliation.

“You cannot lift yourself up without having something to lift against. In ballet, it’s the floor. In life and in health, it’s the physical body. The physical and emotional bodies must reconcile disharmony between them. Pink Sapphire helps by removing emotional intrusions into the body’s tissues and the supraphysical aura that surrounds it.”

I thought about the Relevé design and asked, “Does this have anything to do with the two sizes of Pink Sapphire used in the design?”

“Having more than one size of Pink Sapphire in a wearer’s aura lets her energy field know what it’s like to experience that gem’s energy at more than one level of depth. It lends a sense of perspective and helps the emotional body’s higher intelligence to gauge, examine, and rectify inconsistencies in the emotional aura.”

“Can you explain the mechanism for how Pink Sapphire works?”

As soon as I spoke the question my gaze was again drawn to her magnificent feet and the sturdy arch they formed to support her weight. She raised one foot and tucked it behind the other knee. One foot now supported her. It now bore twice the amount of weight, but in face of this challenge, its strength became ever more apparent. It came forward to reveal itself.

She explained, “Pink Sapphire’s pink color ray builds emotional muscle. The fibers that appear in the emotional aura draw upon this color ray to grow and develop. They have no more need to migrate toward the physical body to stimulate emotion and thus gain color and nourishment. They can grow stronger with Relevé.”

With a hop and a pirouette, she danced away. My vision of her gradually dissolved while I continued to write down everything I had just experienced.
