Benefits

Benefits of Mother Opal™ Bracelet

The Mother Opal™ bracelet consists of Opalite, Golden Beryl, and one sphere of a very rare gem called Mother Opal. Mother Opal is comprised of the gemstone Opal and the rock matrix in which it was grown. The energetic properties of Mother Opal are reflected in the metaphor of its mineralogical construction.

How to Use

Guidelines for Working with Gemstone Bracelets

In general, bracelets can be worn, placed on the body as poultices, or used instead of necklaces in Gemstone Therapy procedures, including self-therapy.

While necklaces fill the whole aura evenly, bracelets focus their energy on one side. This may be preferred if you have health concerns specifically on one side of your body. If you want to work with something that affects your entire body or involves life issues, wear a necklace to support your whole body and being.

Gemstone bracelets can be worn on your left and/or right wrist, and you can switch between sides as you wish. Wear as many bracelets as your body calls for. We used to suggest limiting the number to three, but we’ve learned that some people require complex combinations of gemstone bracelets and necklaces to meet their particular needs.

I call the practice of wearing several bracelets together with purpose “bracelet bundling.” You state your intention for how you want your gemstones to help you, then select the bracelets that call to you. String them together by fastening one to the next, and then wrap them around your wrist. (You may need a macramé extender to make them fit.)

For a multilayered effect, you can also try wrapping your gemstone necklaces around your wrist or including one or more in your bracelet bundle.

Bracelets are safe to wear while you sleep. When falling asleep, you can place the palm of the hand that’s wearing the bracelet over an area you want to work on. The gemstones will support it directly for as long as your hand remains in that position—and then indirectly when you move your hand.

Applying gemstones in the aura is an important part of Gemstone Therapy and usually involves wrapping a necklace around a therapy wand. Healing gemstone bracelets can also be wrapped in this way and applied in the aura.

Without a wand, common Gemstone Therapy movements can easily be replicated with a bracelet on your wrist simply by moving your arm in circles or in other ways.

In summary, you can enjoy healing gemstone bracelets by simply wearing them, holding them on points of pain and stiffness, bundling them with other bracelets and necklaces, and applying them in the aura (with or without wrapping them on a therapy wand).
